Station History

Moved root file system off SD card for Raspberry Pi 3 to NFS root on a Synology NAS. This will provide the following benefits:
  • Reduces the amount of Read/Writes onto the SD card which will eventually kill it.
  • Allows me to store SQLite database on a RAID 1 NAS reducing the chance of losing data.
  • Allows easy replacment of Pi as full image is stored on NAS.
